Project Overview

For this project, I, as a digital designer with Noisy Trumpet collaberated with American Sinus Institute (ASI), one of our many clients, to produce a series of patient testimonial videos designed to highlight real experiences and authentic outcomes. The goal was to humanize the brand by giving patients a voice—showcasing genuine stories of relief, improved quality of life, and renewed confidence after treatment.

Through thoughtful storytelling, clean visuals, and a calm, reassuring tone, the videos were crafted to build trust and emotional connection with prospective patients. Each testimonial focused on clarity, comfort, and credibility, reinforcing ASI’s commitment to compassionate care and advanced sinus solutions. The final deliverables were optimized for web and social platforms, helping ASI strengthen patient engagement while presenting their services in an approachable, relatable way.

Discovery & Research

The discovery phase focused on understanding American Sinus Institute’s mission, patient demographics, and the emotional barriers potential patients face when seeking sinus treatment. Initial research revealed that many patients arrive feeling frustrated, skeptical, or overwhelmed after years of chronic symptoms—making trust and reassurance key components of effective communication.

To guide the testimonial approach, I reviewed ASI’s existing branding, website, and marketing materials, along with competitor testimonial content within the healthcare and ENT space. This helped identify opportunities to differentiate ASI through authenticity rather than overly scripted messaging. Patient interviews and intake conversations were analyzed to uncover common themes such as relief, gratitude, improved sleep, and renewed daily comfort.

These insights shaped the creative direction: natural, conversational storytelling paired with clean, calming visuals. The research ensured each testimonial felt honest and relatable, while reinforcing ASI’s expertise and patient-first care—ultimately creating content that speaks to both emotional and practical concerns of prospective patients.
